THE CLOCK

the clock, the clock
it goes tick tock
60 is its lucky number
the family has its own units
second is little fast ticking girl
minute is a slow rampaging bull
hour is the oldest but slower than a fool
it has relatives of numbers 1 TO 12
all are plain and simple
just telling the time makes them dwell
the clock may be exciting
it may measure the time of fighting
it is such an element that after seeing it I become late for school
it is such an element that after seeing it dad misses the 8:10 a.m. bus
it is such an element that after seeing it mother remembers to pull up at the shell and take some fuel
it may end the algebra class and make you rejoice
but when it end the sports class, except jumping from the monkey bar you have no other choice
if it stops you don't what is happening & it is a very unactionable life
it is really very important because you know if its not there, no one will survive.
